I missed three days of school for hurricane...no wait...tropical storm..no no wait it changed again..hurricane Ophelia.
Ok, I know "Be greatful it didn't cause much damage". You know what? Don't care. I have no respect for a hurricane that had like a week to sit in the ocean and was still so pitiful. If I had to miss so much school why couldn't it be over something a little more worthy?
So for a day they thought our water was contaminated. I didn't find out till the next day when I had already guzzled a few glasses of water. I was thrilled when I found out.
The school handed out waterbottles to everyone since we couldn't use the water foutains. The bottled water was NASTY!! No one could drink it! We were all ready the bottles going 'What the hell kind of minerals are they puting in this water?!'. Seriously the 'comtaminated' water tasted better!
I made my math teacher try pocky (a japanese treat). He was like "It's chocolate on a stick!". He said he liked it but I dunno.
I also made various other eople try it. I may or may not have frightend the forgien exchange students with my offerings ^^.
I talk to the weirdest people. In biology a boy looked at me and was like " You're so pretty...like a duck". I started cracking up. You don't hear things like that often!!
Since I'm a junior, I'm starting to get a little more serious about colleges. I've decided for now I want to go to Greensboro. I'm not really sure why but it just feels right. I'm still researching it and other colleges. I have to keep all my options open.
I'm supposed to take my PSATs October 12. I'm nervous since I have no idea what to expect. The booklet doesn't help make it look any less scary.
Still ain't studying though. I've gotten this far without it so no need to change now right?
Let's see how long it takes for the panic to settle in. I give it a week.
